How long do the results from Juvéderm® injections last?
Most wrinkle reduction patients who receive Juvéderm® XC see visible wrinkle reduction for six months to a year following their initial treatment. Patients who receive Juvéderm® Voluma see a more youthful, rejuvenated appearance for up to two years after treatment.
Are there any side effects associated with Juvéderm® treatment?
Because Juvéderm® treatment results are temporary, there are very few side effects associated with the treatment. Some Juvéderm® XC and Voluma™ patients report temporary redness and minimal swelling or bruising at the injection site that subsides within a couple of days.
Are Juvéderm® injections painful?
Juvéderm® XC and Voluma™ are unique in that they feature the local anesthetic lidocaine as one of the ingredients. The mixture minimizes any pain associated with the procedure.
